it may happen it looks like the arms are longer because of the angle the picture's been taken.. but i love this anyways ^^

guys i think the reason why her arms look long is because of the perspective of the picture was taken at. from far away it could look just fine i bet.

Hey, I wasn't making fun of it! XD I was pointing out something wrong with the picture >.>
What do you mean by "all kinds of people"? . . .
You commented on it and you didn't chastise me for drawing it :I You just said that you also knew the struggles of anatomy (and that it wasn't a DD, it was a front page. Which you're right >.<).
Don't be two-faced, it's very unattractive. .

I'm sorry
Β Β
i was worried that you were gonna bash on me earlier, but you didn't, so i figured i should have been nice about everything i said
i think im gonna make a new da account

PicsAndPixels In reply to fizzymoth [2014-06-05 01:49:34 +0000 UTC]
If it warranted me bashing you earlier, then I would have :0 But I don't bash people outright without a good reason to do so >.>
I'm a girl who's got a good head on her shoulders, and I also believe that being nice to people is essential. But, when something is bad or not right, especially something that gets a lot of attention, then criticizing it isn't a bad thing. . If you question nothing because it's the "nice thing to do" then nothing would ever get better. In fact, things would get a lot worse. You know?
And seriously. This does not warrant making a new account :I
Just, don't mix up your responses about things from one person to another >.< You'd seem very suck-upish to everybody, and when the other learns what you said to another person, you would come off as very two-faced to them :/

It's not making fun of the artwork, it's pointing out a flaw in it. Making fun of it would be drawing doodles all over her face. Just because something sounds negative, doesn't means it's a bad thing.

fizzymoth In reply to MotorRoach [2014-06-05 01:17:03 +0000 UTC]
There's more ways to make fun of stuff. Look at the title. There's even a face, in the title.
I don't wanna start trouble, it's just. If someone made fun of my art, (in any way,) I'd pretty upset, too.
A simple comment is well enough to point out a flaw
I don't think the deviation was very negative
it was just
I don't wanna say childish either, it's just a bit unnecessary. But not too unnecessary. unu?

this is not making fun of someone's art. This is a legitimate critique. It's a very lovely drawing but there are many anatomical errors with it. Not saying every piece of art work needs 100% accuracy but by pointing out how long the arms are is helpful for the artist as well who may of not been aware of how weird the arms were until they were done or just now.

Some times criticism can be shown visually, since some people can be unsure on how to explain, so it's not really unnecessary as said. Just saying.

Looks beautiful, but... this makes her look like her arms are REALLY long, with her hands looking like they're far away from the rest of the body, and the arms from shoulders going so straight down.
Hope this made any sense, and that it didn't sound mean. I only meant to give constructive criticism, not to bash your hard work.Β

Its beautifully drawn & colored, but it is off in the proportions. like the hand/arms don't quite blend with her torso, also the length of her neck, & the lengthiness of her shoulders & body. I love the shape of her face tho. & the shading is brilliant. I'm no expert, Just a couple things I have noted. awesome job.

You seem to be having trouble w/ scaling/foreshortening. Noticed your hands are really big in other drawings too like the Kenshin one or too small like in Elsa picture. The right arm and hand (the one in the back) should be foreshortened and should be smaller than the arm and hand in front. They should also be closer to the body.
