Any introverts here?I've always related a lot to the caution, discretion and gracefulness of the doe. It is indeed one of my favourite animals

As an introvert - to the point of painful aversion to human interaction - this resonates strongly with me. I love the expression on the girl's face; it reminds me quite a bit of how I feel. I've always loved deer, especially does. (Falene was always one of my favorite Disney characters). I have to say, this reminds me of Severus Snape's Patronum from Harry Potter, which is awesome, because I love that series. ^^ Awesome, awesome drawing, and that it's traditional is incredible as well.

A friend of mine also told me the same thing about Snape's patronum (we're quite fan of the books/films). I'm glad you like it! ^^ And don't let anyone make you feel about being an introvert, extroversion is overrated

I could never be extroverted. I once heard it explained as 'introverts make their own energy. Extroverts take it from others.' I'd always felt like taking energy from people to be happy would be stealing. XD

Introverted is an understatement! I love deer (does included), especially after I read this, it somewhat resonates with me:
Deer blend very well with their environment but are very sensitive to every sound or movement. Often twins, even triplets, are born in the spring. Does and bucks live in separate groups until the mating season. The white-tailed deer are moderately gregarious, and family members forage food together along with other family groups, giving the appearance of a large herd. People with Deer Medicine are often described as being swift and alert. They are intuitive, often appearing to have well developed, even extrasensory perceptions. Sometimes their thoughts seem to race ahead, and they appear not to be listening. Deer's medicine includes gentleness in word, thought and touch, ability to listen, grace and appreciation for the beauty of balance, understanding of what's necessary for survival, power of gratitude and giving, ability to sacrifice for the higher good, connection to the woodland spirits, alternative paths to a goal. The gentleness of Deer is the heart-space of the Great Spirit which embodies His love for us all. Deer teaches us to find the gentleness of spirit that heals all wounds, to stop pushing to get others to change and to love and accept them as they are. The only true balance to power is love and compassion.
Beautiful piece of work by the way, I see it's ghostlike, but to me it also feels calming, quiet and peaceful. I love the trees and the the stars, they're just perfect as is the frame. I like it very much. The only niggle I have is something with the deer herself, but I cannot put my finger on what.
