I refuse to upload artwork from 2023 in 2024 but since this is a reference sheet I will make an exception...I don't usually make reference sheets for my characters every year ( because I hate doing them ) with the exception being my 2 main "true" fursonas being Baby Boy and Ontario. I know that some might find the use of images to look cheap but it makes the process more enjoyable and will actually enable me to make references for lots of characters this year that have been overdue them for a long time. Baby boy is my main fursona or "trusona", he represents me completely in all ways; personality, physique, everything. because of this everything that has to do with me is linked back to him. he shares the same occupation as me ( illustrator ) and his age grows as mine does ( january 30th, 1998 ).
He is extremely emotional, passion-driven, shy, naive, socially anxious & impulsive. he cares for his friends and those around him greatly, and will do anything in his power to make sure that their problems are solved. he enjoys meeting new people & making friends but finds the process difficult, preferring instead to be approached and keeping to himself. to combat his shyness he enjoys creating artwork for all to see; in hopes of lifting someone's spirits or bringing a smile to another having a bad day. he is very "head empty", knows nothing about the world and really only cares about toys and his partner.
He is a child at heart and loves all things rainbow, toys, stuffed animals & crayons. this is reflected in his personal style as he also dresses very "childlike" and odd for his age. he prefers to dress in rainbow / colorful / fun clothing constantly if it's at all possible! however, his partner has the complete opposite style - dressing in blacks and edgy accessories which results in getting some interesting comments whenever they go out together.
