Description
To purchase this image as an exclusive limited edition print please visit my website @ WWW.NATEZEMAN.COMWhen I shot this photo these fox pups were very young. They had very little (if any) knowledge of humans. The other 7 little ones spent the whole time playing with each other, but this particular pup just stared at me the whole time.. probably trying to figure out what I was.

Cute litte bugger. It's always nice when animals approach the lens, can get such emotive shots, as you've managed to capture here . Great shot man!

Ahh man! you and your fox shots.
I hate you.
Great shot nate. your perfect lighting amazes me every time. Im wondering your secrets ie off camera speed lights or diffusers or if colorado is just blessed with ridiculously amazing light every time you pick up a camera

ha thanks. the feeling is mutual! im really really picky with light i guess, and i think im getting pretty good at working with available light. with the foxes though i can afford to be really picky.. the den is so close by i can stop there all the time and shoot when conditions are optimal. im pissed though, they live under an abandoned building and i went by today and theres this tall wire fence all the way around it now.

Ahh man that sucks big time, i wonder if you could find the owners who put the fence up show them your work and ask for permission and a key to continue. Hopefully the fence will not affect the foxes, I imagine they will have a hole dug under it in no time.
Really the bad part is though the fence is probably a hint of forth coming renovation destruction urbanization ect ect

well its a historic building and theres always been a really old wooden fence around it it was just falling apart and really easy to work around. im guessing they just put up a new to keep people out of the area. but knowing this town it could just as easily be marked for a new real estate office. there are so many of them here its unbelievable
