They had very little (if any) knowledge of humans. The other 7 little ones spent the whole time playing with each other, but this particular pup just stared at me the whole time.. probably trying to figure out what I was.

Before i got into photography, there was a fox den with a litter of kits across the road from the school my kids went to. Of course, they are gone but oh..if they were I'd be there with cam in hand!
This is a nice pic BTW...Other than wolves, i would love to have foxes as my model of choice!

How close do you get to take these shots?
I tried getting close to those fox pups along the highway, and even with my 200mm, I'd have to be like 15 feet away to get this kind of closeup.. They didn't let me within 100!
