Description
A holiday card I designed and composited in 2015 for Daniel Clark Creative. It was a team effort with Daniel and Jason Clark, but I did the initial designs and a lot of the compositing, illustration, lighting. Dean Sanchez did a great job taking my cabin design to the next level in 3D.You can also follow my work on ArtStation: www.artstation.com/artist/nate…

EDIT: Thank you very much to ErikShoemaker for the suggestion and cosmicbound for bestowing the DD! I don't really have the time to respond to everyone, (I try) but be assured that I've read the comments and really appreciate them! Thank you all!

Wow! This is a really, really impressive piece! It's a collaboration, right? So someone photographed and then you created the whole concept?

Thank you! The model is the only photographed element but she was heavily painted over. I repainted the hair, the clothes (she had a plane white dress, but I added some design and repainted some of the wrinkles), the pose (so she match the the perspective and looked like she was in a seat), floating things and lighting. Everything else was either painted or 3D modeled (cabin) and then heavily painted over to match lighting and feel.

I could be wrong but I believe it's all drawn, no photo in it.
