never used painter before, but it looks like you can achieve some awesome stuff with it, good work!

Its seems quite good. Ment to give a more "painted" look. This was done using the an oil paint type thing, I didn't bother about exturing it though. The colour mixing pallette is a useful thing though. I used trusty photoshop for the glowy bits and general clean up and masking.

There is definite potential. I like the natural media aspects of it. Paint with out cleaning up

Well, anything that avoids the mess and the cleaning up of traditional painting is always good in my books! I'm a complete klutz when it comes to painting - usually end up with more paint on me than the canvas. Must remember fuzzy end faces forward.

Its not something I do often. I was just playing with the program to see if its worth buying. Took ages to do this. Couldn't save so I had to take about 10 screen caps and fit them together. Computer crashed a lot too. Its a crap computer, why I don't colour often.

you need to get one like the one from ..... oh shit what is the name of that movie with the dead people in the school and the girl is trying to save the dude, anyway they get taken into like the zombie world or something and there is a zombie prom and the strap him into the homecomming kings thrown and try to put the crown on him and it has this little spining blade in it.
That is the hat you need!
It was funnier when I didn't have to tell about the movie.
