(finalized version.I feel immensely happy about the design of him. I wanted to capture the darkness, as well as the vane qualities/ the beauty he emanates in this piece.

Anhim, in this tale, is the Father of Ghirahim and Malakai,(they and demire(mise) being the main characters)

In legend,it was said that he was the original father of demons and his life and influence spanned eons. It is from him Ghirahim takes his vanity and narcissism.However , key traits (horns and tail were not given to his children as this "supposedly" is acquired through age. These are Greater Demon traits , but despite this being true in their lands he would not admit this.The reason for this is due to his elitist attitude towards Greater Demons( Balag Da-bulky,toothy, usually large race of demons including the bokoblins/Moblins) as he considered them slow, sluggish and incapable of strategic/logical thought.The Old King known as The Waymaker whose records vanished into nothingness was the predecessor of the order of kings , savagely murdered in a surprise siege of the Palace of the Way; A betrayal that soon earned him the Curse of Succession(reference Aurora image) Former general of the Dark Armies, King Anhim was the first elite lesser demon to advance to the throne via conquest.
During his reign he too one of the Waymaker's soldiers, named Demire at the time and turned him into his slave.This slave bears a surprising role in this story because in his hands through many trials ultimately turns the tide of happenings within it.Demire continued, as time went on , despite being called pathetic and incapable in his imprisonment because of the prejudice, to become the most powerful force within Demon Realm with the help of Anhim's children....unintentionally.

Birthing of the Sons:
Because of Anhim's "tainted" bloodline he was told to seek a purer blooded maiden and through her "the son of darkness will be born" ,though, there were no recorded female demons of Kalik' Da descent(demons with more streamlined,human appearance;Usually pale , and much smaller than the Greater counterparts). He eventually paired with one demoness named Aurora(previously Liya) after discovering she was female under the disguise of a male soldier. Ignoring the warnings of the soothesayer demon Shamahn of her eventual downfall and the overall turmoil of his reign by the "Fool King", he mated wit her , resulting in Malakai and Ghirahim.When the soothesayer's words were proven to be false with the birthing of 2 children;one of them having a disfigurement, He killed the elder in a fit of rage.

He eventually met his end to poisoning by rebels (around when the boys were reaching adolescence) from his foolish over-confidence in a power he had no control over

He is a bold, powerful, unpredictable demon who stopped at nothing until he got his way.Ruthless and cunning, He held a solid reign until his ignorance got the best of him. He treated the youngest son as if he was not fit to rule due to him not "replicating" his perfect form. Unbeknownst to him , his son , Ghirahim, proved quite the opposite... at least up until Demire used his pride against him(soon Demise)

NOTE: THE CAPE/GARB, THE RUST SASH, AND THE RUST CROWN ARE RECURRING /IMPORTANT ITEMS AS WELL AS THE ANTIFORCE SHADOW COVENANT SYMBOL ON THE FRONT OF HIS LOWER DRAPE.
