Description
Based on the unfilmed script of Frank Darabont that later became Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.Instead of using the same actors I have decided to recast the two leads with two different but look-alike actors. The only one mainteined is John Hurt, who was always going to play Professor Oxley.
Frank Darabont's script contained numerous elements later found in the final film: the crystal skull as Mcguffin, man-eating ants, Indy surviving from a nuclear explosion in a fridge and the aliens. In this version there was no Mutt Williams, John Hurt's character was named Vernom Oxley and in the end Indy would had been tested by the aliens.
