"A few days after the events with Brickbreaker, Corey and Diego were both given a lecture by their dad, though because of their teamwork skills on defeating one of his villains, Arthur decided to allow both Corey and Diego to work together, though he was quite concerned that Corey's denatured powers would need some work, so as a general practice, he told Diego to be a mentor to Corey as Diego had the proper training in order to keep their powers in check. So Diego and Corey were made to take on the lesser powerful villains and the standard criminals, muggers and gangs in order to train his powers properly, making sure Corey's abilities don't cause too much of an issue or get overpowered from his denatured serum flowing through him. But after that discussion, he brought Corey down to the lair and had ERMAC create a proper version of his costume that he would need and not the makeshift version being able to be connected to ERMAC's service and being able to keep in contact with the three when going out on his heroic escapades. Though Corey rejected the eyemask as he felt hidding his facial markings would make him see disconnected to his own identity but instead opted for a lens and ear implant that would take the idea instead.

After getting newly suited up, both Diego and Corey went out to do their first full job as a duo also as a training exercise. Both headed up to McKinley Towers as they stood up on the rooftop looking over the civlians of Kentville.

"Alright Corey, we best get you started on your training. First off we need to be keeping an eye and ear out for any distress, whether it is a crime being committed or an accident that needs to be stopped. We need to keep outselves at the ready." Diego said in his Marvel Mutt self as he looked at Corey in his renewed Mighty Mutt suit, as folks had decided to name Corey which Corey was pretty proud of having as a hero name.

"Right, keep on the lookout.. Like that car red car going a bit crazy through the traffic..?" Corey said as he was looking down at the car driving around erratically as Diego looked over seeing it.
"Hmm.. good eyes Corey.. Let's get down there and see what's going on." Diego said as he leapt off the rooftop diving down, as Corey followed behind as the duo then followed after the car.

Inside the car, a robber had been on the run as he had recently stolen from a rich family as he drives through the streets, while inside the car, a tied up teenage daughter of the family he robbed had been placed into the boot of the car as leverage and has been driving around the city trying to evade the cops.

"Oh man.. I can't believe i'm getting away with this.. That Carter-Maxwell family have been needing a reality check for once in their lives.. Once i get outta Kentville, i'll drop her off in a restroom outside the state." The robber said as he wasn't aware of the duo siblings as they began flying and catching up to the car, as the female captive was bound up and gagged as she wasn't sure what was going on.

"Just gotta get outta this damned rat run of a city." The robber said as he looked through the mirrors, as he then spotted the mega siblings in the window as he started to panic about being caught. "Ohh shit..! It's those sons of Mega Mutt.. I can't believe this.." The robber said as he tried to speed the car up getting away from the duo, in the midst of the panic, he ended up seeing a old lady crossing the street making him need to sharply swerve the car he was driving off the road and crashing into a stairway.

"Ohh that's gonna hurt Mighty bad." Corey said as he stops flying as he floats in place seeing the car starting to smoke up from the engine being smashed against the stairs, though it wouldn't take long before the robber was climbing out of the car clutching a money bag somewhat dazed from the crash, but still able to walk.

"Damn it.. why did this have to happen.. If i just got outta here sooner.." The robber said as Diego and Corey then landed down together as they looked over to the car then back to the robber.

"Hmm.. a Cherokee 700 Maxima, isn't that a bit of a rare car to be joyriding in..?" Diego said as he looked over at the car as he and Corey looked back at the robber.

"Seems to me that you were in a rush to get outta here.. especially with that money of yours.." Corey said as he started walking up to the robber.

"Hold it there.. You take a step closer and i'll shoot that gas tank and it'll send fuel to that sparking engine.. It'll blow up against that building and whatever is inside the car." The robber said, pulling out a gun from his pocket cocking the pin into place. "You let me leave and I won't shoot the gas tank..!" The robber said as he pointed at Corey.

As this happens, Corey and diego's hearing can hear the sound of thumping from the boot of the car could be heard as Diego walked towards the car. As the robber noticed as he aimed the gun back at car. "I mean it.. I'll shoot that car's tank!.." the robber said, however he didn't notice Corey starting to inhale deeply as his chest expanded with the inhale, before letting out a massive ice breath that covers the robber in a growing layer of frost and ice. While this happens, Diego gripped the boot cover ripping it off the hinges as he saw the kidnapped teen in the boot as he then lifted her out of the boot. "You alright madam.. We got this in our hands." Diego said, as the female teen was nodding while still gagged and tied up. As he looked back, Corey was just about finishing with his ice breath as they see the robber being covered in what seemed to be a massive ice cube as his body is mostly encased in the ice, only for the robber's head and hands holding the gun and the money were left in place.

Soon afterwards, Diego and Corey helped to untie the captured teenager as she then hugged both Corey and Diego in thanks. "Ohh thank you.. thank you. I didn't know what would have happened if you two didn't come to save me." the teenager said as she hugged the two heroes expecially for Diego.
"Heh well, it's all for the help to save the community." Diego said, before getting a kiss on his lips which Corey looked on and let out a giggle.
"Looks like you got yourself a forever fan Marvel." Corey said as the two got caught in a kiss, as he looked as the two kissed for what looked like an hour before letting the kiss go.
"By the way.. the name is Molly. And if you want.. I'd like for you and your little companion to come to our home so my parents can also thank the heroes who saved me" Molly said as Diego was left with a mighty red blush on his face as he looked at Molly.
"Hh.. hah.. Mmmhmm.. That's a nice thought of you Molly. And i'm sure the two off us would be happy to join you. But this city needs to be kept an eye on.. And to be fair, i think you should also get yourself checked up after a crash like that." Diego said as he still had the blush on his face.
"Yeah, i would have to agree.. Maybe Marvel can escort you to hospital for free." Corey said as he smiled as he was looking at Diego.
"Ohh sure, best get you there.. Mighty, you can handle the car crash, is that okay." Diego said as he took Molly in his herculean arms as Molly wraps her arms around his neck and torso before lfiting off the ground and flying off, leaving corey doing the heavy work.

Not long after that, Diego and Corey met back up in their civilian forms, as Diego decided to check up on Molly at the hospital bringing Corey along the two wanted to make sure she was okay."
