Here we have Mewtwo now finding a strange substance in a bag, he investigates it but soon starts to feel strange and he starts to get really jumpy and his eyes begin to widen as does his pupils...what is it? its CATNIP

I guess the movie (that 1st one with him) could have ended pretty quick if somebody threw catnip at him.

Could be something like:
*all pokemons fighting his clones in the stadium*
Mewtwo: "My clones and I will dominate over your worthless pokemon!"
*one of the trainers throws catnip at him*
Mewtwo: "Prrr?"
*he goes over the catnip while everyone just stares*
