Description
Garhelians are a humanoid avian-like species from the planet garhel. They evolved from an avian-like ancestor on their homeworld. They are very unique in their biology as they possess triple jointed arms, and they walk on the tips of their toes. But the most remarkable thing about them, and the most recognizable thing about them, is their large heads, which look like masks and are often mistaken for masks, which are brighter with more patterns and markings in males than in females, hence why they are so patriarchal, and why only males are permitted to interact with other species. It’s also one of the reasons why they don’t wear shirts, because their heads are so big. Garhelians have a lust for power, for the glory of their empire, and their words are to conquer is to live, similar to the vaskors words to hunt and kill is to live. They take advantage of their unique appearance and mask-like heads to dupe more primitive or superstitious, or just plain impressionable species into believing they are spirits or gods, or that they serve the spirits or gods of said species, once they win over the species they are conquering, they make them do work like mining minerals, or collect food, water, and other resources, basically enslaving them, and they keep this up until the species they enslaved either dies out or rebels, or if they are stopped by a more advanced species, or some other reason that makes them have to leave.
