Through the Palace of Shadows - Exordium - Nelumbo Nucifera| The Reliquary |
The inner sanctum was gloomy but peaceful.
A temporary safeguard against the auditory onslaught.
But as my eyes adjusted to the dimly lit room I noticed a procession of objects aligning the space, extending into the darkness.
And as I contemplated the shadowy figures that lay ahead, an intense bright light manifested from the far reaches of the structure.
Flooding the gallery with light.
What is that?
