First off-
Happy Read Across America Day!It's Dr. Seuss' birthday, and I swear, my school was gung-ho about it! We read "One fish, two fish, red fish, blue fish" in my science class! How awesome is THAT?
(That fish-walrus should've been named Walter, not Clark
)To celebrate, I drew Nayru reading!
...well, here's a fun fact. Nayru can't read. Or write. Yeah, it's a shocker. Anyone would be annoyed if they couldn't celebrate a holiday correctly. I don't even know what the book is. My mom suggested a drawing of Nayru holding the book, "The Grapes of Wrath," upside-down, shouting, "Hey, there are no pictures in this stupid thing!"

Nayru: Coolio! There's an ice cream place down the road from here on Angle Island. If we take that path, we should be there in a jiff.

Nayru: yeah, but I think Knuckelhead is out for some reason. *shrugs* Come on, let's go get that ice cream!

Nayru: *holding waffle cone with rocky road ice cream* Mmm! This is delicious! What about yours, Dark?

Nayru: *puts finger up to chin* It's really cloudy out here. I didn't remember rain on the forecast. *shrugs*

Nayru: ummm, that was kinda fast... *darts under awning of ice cream parlor*

Nayru: *squints eyes and searches around. Rain starts to fall* If that's coming from you, then I'm afraid of what's causing the rain. Maybe it's one of those spooky things where the heros get transported to another world through a portal! *laughs*

Nayru: Eh, you know that it's worth a shot. *shrugs* But, umm, maybe we should actually check it out...just in case...
