Cannot... stop... watching...
I'm an artist that can tackle pretty much anything, but mecha scare me. Do you have any advice for complicated-looking designs that are actually pretty easy?

This fills me with geeky joy. Very cool design and transformation.
Interesting to be able to see how each part of the robot functions and changes.

Holy cow! That's brilliant, both in design and animation! The transformation is logical, and the technical readouts are a nice touch. A pity we had our volume up when we clicked to see the transformation, though...our ears nearly exploded. Oh well, our bad...
Nice to see that someone else appreciates the arcade shooters where enemy vehicles and fortresses transform into giant mechas for no apparent reason - sure, it makes little sense, but it's darn cool. We could see this as a miniboss or a particularly tough standard enemy - perhaps it pops off of the deck of a battleship or something?

the orginal artwork of it is in was like a weapon on train tracks comming out from a tunnel of a fortress built into a cliff.

Oh, that makes sense. Still, it'd definitely fit right in one of those games. Heck, it might even be a surprise boss - the player destroys a fortress without it transforming, only for this cannon to pop up and start firing...

Epic flashback to Starfox 64. I far prefer this simple transformation to the fast paced/messy junkyard transformations of the new transformers series.
