Oh this was so cool...You attemt some really good complex actions in this flash. The battle scenes are really good, with proper camera and everything, nice psudo3D animation and everything.
I'll be watching intently for more!
A lot of people don't understand this kind of Flash, they think that there needs to be a big storyline to suppliment the action, but the great thing about Flashes like this, is that it allows the viewer to interpret the story any way they want, and make up their own minds as to what's going on without having it told to them. That's why Nightmare City is so cool, you don't know what it's all about, but you can make up the whole story in your head.

Well of course, there always has to be a loose plot that is the basis for the animation, but I was just referring to the way me and my friends will sit down and watch Saviour Cat and then each have different ideas as to what's happening in the story.

Did you know that those characters are in fact stock? They are public domain, and originated as text emoticons on a Japanese message board, so anyone can use them...I find that really hard to get my head around.
Damn military. Some other friends of mine who have to join were telling me what a pain it is. Lucky it's not compulsory over where I live.

they are not really "Stock" they are kinda in the japanese internet culture. kinda like their smilies, but smilies with Background stories and how they become.... each ASCII character created had some weird orgin behind it
example, theres a character about a sun and 2 cats green and blue. my japanese friend told me its some sort of mock or insult to one of the states in japan. a chicken man will always be seen kidnapping 1san(some little guy) and bringing him into a bush to do who knows what.....
yeah, they are actually also known as memes. 4chan city was a complete exact thingy to what nightmarecity is, nightmare city plays 2ch's memes while 4chan has their own memes fighting it out.

I noticed that the chicken man always seems to be holding people down and punching them in the face, and I gathered that this was some kind of "OMG, you told a bad joke, you get pwned" reference. Is 1san the little dude with the boofy blonde hair and the worried look on his face? A friend told me that he's actually a reference to paedophillia.
I LOVE the two cats with sun...they're like...my all time FAVOURITE memes followed by the fluffy brown guy (who played a swordsman in Nightmare City).
I kind of want to create my own memes now, and I don't think the cast of Electrospastic really counts, even though many of them are based on text emoticons.

I know that, they're only personal memes between me and my school friends. They're actually pretty notorious amongst the people we hang out with, especially this one:
(one of us brings a toaster to school w/chord, somebody asks "what the hell are you doing with a toaster?" we reply "I COULD ASK YOU THE SAME QUESTION!")
It works brilliantly on people on the internet as well, whenever someone asks you a stupid question, reply with that. Amongst me and it's almost automatic.
As such, I guess it would be wrong to call them memes, I guess I didn't quite know what the word meant at the stage of my previous post, so now I feel retarded. -_<
Although I DO like calling them personal memes! It's like walking into a bar and screaming "WE GOTS PERSONAL MEMES!" at the top of your lungs.
