Three down, one to go. After the dark princess arrives comm work shall commence. 
I apologize for my lack of skillz as far as lighting is concerned, so here is the posing sketch if you're confused as to how she was intended to appear, minus the raised hoof because that ended up looking funny. ncmares.deviantart.com/art/Cad… My bad. :[
P.S. Lightning is fun to draw, but I don't know how to draw rain. mad props to for their rain brushes!

I like the lighting in this one, it gives the piece a dark and oppressive feel to it, like you'd expect in a storm. Eyes are drawn to the lightning and the light sabre. It's very cool.

Darth Cadance...maybe a pony spoof of Darth Caedus? Funny thing is, the pony character would probably make more sense than the actual star wars character.

This is by far the best drawing of the three Sith Princesses. However, I am continually drawn to the ambiguity of her leg positions. I cannot tell if I am looking at the front or the back legs. I say this because after staring at it so long trying to figure out what I am looking at, I think my eyes are playing tricks on me.
The left leg looks to thin and like it is tied to a right leg... Or there are two legs overlapping each other and the bandages match up.
NCMares, what are you doing? The leg positions keep moving. STAHP!
Legs aside, her eye is amazing.

lol, thanks a lot. I thought I had something when I sketched her, but I finish hammering out the background and begin coloring Cadence only to realize the lighting is not at all going to work out. I tried to salvage, but it was off from the start and for that I apologize. I went ahead and included the initial sketch in the description, though. I hope it helps. :[ Lessons were certainly learned, and if anything I'll probably go back and draw her again one of these days.

I looked at the initial sketch, but I can't see if your finished piece as her foot raised or not. I still really like it. For me, her eye and the hair covering it really make the dark and brooding mood. She looks like a complete badass.

Good grief the things which some people think are 'criticism.' You were amazingly patient with that person.
You already know about the lighting issues. They really are foregrounded heavily in this image.
If I might though, I'd suggest that there are some compositional things as well. If her mane weren't draped in such a way that it obscures most of her torso and legs, it might not be so problematic, but as it is, what's visible of her legs is highlighted in an almost identical fashion and tone to her cloak/cape, which leads to some confusion in terms of what is part of her body and what isn't.
You went with a very closed and foreshortened pose, which reduces the readability of the pose as a silhouette (you have probably seen tutorials and guides which suggest using poses where a viewer can tell exactly what the character is doing from the silhouette?). The cape magnifies this problem as it merges with the character's silhouette, and with the low lighting chosen for the piece most of Cadence is not much more than a silhouette. I would suggest that if your'e going to work dark, you focus on that silhouette effect. In your Twilight sith picture, for example, her silhouette is totally readable and the cape is distinguishable from her own form.
Other than that, well, you draw lightsabers very well, the rain is brilliantly executed (I might've added some glossy splash on the grass, highlighted by the lightsaber, but it's optional, just an idea), and I really love the way you render eyes.

Thanks a lot - I very much appreciate your feedback! I thought I had it all good when I'd sketched her out and hammered out the rough background, but then I get to coloring Cadence herself and realize that I have a serious lighting issue! I was messing with the BG for the longest time, playing with the mountains and all sorts of stuff to try and convey her posing in a legible(?) manner. I knew I wanted that lightning flashing from behind, but I failed to realize the effect that would have on the viewer as they look at a four-legged object facing them with a bright light shining from behind. That was simply poor foresight on my part - if anything I ought to have scrapped Cadence and started from scratch, not try and salvage. :/ I will definitely keep your feedback about silhouettes in mind going forward. If I can't pick apart the form when the subject is coated in a flat color then I certainly can't expect anyone else to! Lessons were certainly learned with this one, and I thank you for your help.

you are aware that repeating what I just said at the end there shows a lack of creativity, what I am saying is while you have your opinions and I have mine, you should not simply discard the opinions of others like trash, you word are law to you, but to the would thy are trash, mine are no different but when someone presents me with the correct way of saying I'm wrong, instead of rejecting it, I except and learn, do not deny help when it is offered, even if it is in the form of criticism like mine

Criticism? All you said was that she should be non-sith. That's pretty vague, man. I'm no star-wars fanatic or anything. The first thing I think of when I read "non-sith" is Jedi, you know?
You didn't mention the technique, lighting, posing, or anything that ought to be critiqued. A critique highlights something that can be improved, not what you want to see drawn. Believe it or not, there is a difference.
Like most folks I strive to get better, but I accept real help, not "she should be non-sith."
I gave you my reason for not drawing her another way, and you respond like a psychopath with all this head crushing nonsense. You're really one to talk about showing true colors, pal.

If I may suggest one, then you should do Zecora as Mace Windu (Mare Windu?). After all, she's frequently portrayed in place of black characters in fanart. It would also be awesome if you could title (or include) the phrase "bad motherfucker" on the picture.
The phrase is something that Jackson himself claims to have been engraved on the original movie prop.

I apologize, then. I meant the original reply in a humorous manner. Previous people have commented that I ought to draw light side ponies and I responded similarly. Laughs were had and we moved on, no problem. However, I highly advise that you don't run around telling people that you're nuts. You can provide helpful comments all day long, but now that I know you're off your rocker I won't pay nearly as much mind as I would otherwise.

I'm not nuts, I'm insane, the only difference is I admit it and people lesson and take my advice all the same and have improved in are and story telling extremely well, that and I seem previous comments on this and the others I faved, non of them where funny, they where horrible and you have poor hummer in weighting form
besides, most sith are more insane then me and you like sith so I seem no problem with this

the parts i can see look great though i can't quite make out how the lower body looks like, i can't see any legs.
