Three down, one to go. After the dark princess arrives comm work shall commence. 
I apologize for my lack of skillz as far as lighting is concerned, so here is the posing sketch if you're confused as to how she was intended to appear, minus the raised hoof because that ended up looking funny. ncmares.deviantart.com/art/Cad… My bad. :[
P.S. Lightning is fun to draw, but I don't know how to draw rain. mad props to for their rain brushes!

I don't think Sith Cadance is relying on love there.
As for Sith Twilight, I'd think she rather uses her mastery of magic (as in skill, not power), as well as her intelligence, and the opposite of the Elements (greed, betrayal, deceit, anger and brutality). Just my thoughts on it, though.
And I look forward for 'Darth Moon'!

Yes, but the question was "Lightsaber Duel". In terms of a magic/force battle, Twilight would definitely win, but if she doesn't let up with her magic, and gives an opportunity for Cadance to strike melee, then she would probably be done.
I don't rather think Sith Cadance would rely on love, but rather use it as a primary power source, using Hatred, Frustration, and Fear as secondary power sources, primarily drawing on love because of her mastery in the subject.

Be aware of her, not because she's the most powerful, but because she's vicious, feral and unpredictable of all. Even Celestia fears her unbridled and pure rage.
Poor young soul, loosing the love of her life at the hands of someone she cared as a sister, driving her mad, seeking revenge at all costs.
Because of her madness you should take special care on her offensive maneuvers, and her skill with the dark side and sith sorcery.

In all honesty I'm drawing the princesses as sith simply because I think sith look way cooler than jedi. I'm not necessarily trying to build a universe or nothing, you know? If I were to draw Chrysalis, though, she'd definitely be a sith just because I like her so much. :3

Love this piece. Cadance is my fav princess and I love seeing art of her especially badass Star Wars art of her. Her stance and lightsaber hold makes me think of starkiller from the Force Unleashed games, the same with her determined face. Whatever stands in her way is not going to be standing much longer.

I remember looking at Sith Celestia and Twilight and thinking Celestia showed infinite contempt for the viewer and Twilight assumed the viewer was a mile beneath her. Cadence on the other hand makes you feel like you aren't even on her list of things to deal with. And she looks psychotically determined to boot.

Mission accomplished! I like the princess and wish there was more fanart of her doing cool stuff, like holding lightsabers! The only such fanart I've seen came from the Tatzlwurm thing, but even that was in relatively short supply.
