So a friend of mine mentioned how some renders on DeviantArt have some pretty good micro details going on. So Itook a crack at it myself.
This is going to be another free addition to the foot morph I made a little while ago, however this is just a bump map and will
be standalone so the foot morph isn't "required." The details I'm referring to aren't the grooves of the foot that's just a normal map I created, I'm talking
about like the "toe print effect" and the minor grooves that make up the foot print as well. Download the full size image if the details aren't
coming through for you.
It's a long way from complete but I figured I'd share what I've got so far. I need to get back to my commissions so this project will have to be shelved
for a little while. Let me know what you guys think in the comments below.

The shoulders were actually one of the things I needed to optimize. Along with her color scheme.
I'm eventually going to change her colors more to that of an African Water Lily. That's what her theme is centered around anyway haha.

I love seeing them, I just hope that the rest of the body gets these sorts of updates (I'm talking about Daz figures and G8). The HD addons are a good start but if they released a "Super HD 4k Detailed PLUS ULTRA MAXXX" for Charlotte 8, I'd buy it in a heartbeat

Yea the problem is the efficiency. You see I had to use an 8K bump map to get this effect... not exactly my preferred way to go about things.
I always say the smaller the better, in terms of image size. It makes for much quicker render times. I think I'll be able to manage a 4k version of this bump
map just fine though, I'll be tinkering more with the project to find out the best route.

But the foot detail is completely astounding, how do you manage that level of detail? Ungodly texture sizes or a custom UV? I'm really curious.

As of right now, ungodly texture size. A whopping 8k bump map...
Still trying to optimize that and hopefully get the same level from a 4k, because I was definitely
noticing the hit to render times from that bump map.

Thanks I'm glad you noticed, it took about 8 hours, 4 last night and 4 this morning to achieve the results I am going for.
It's still not quite there yet but it's coming along nicely.
