Toriel
The caretaker of the Ruins, during the events of the backstory, she had recovered from her mental illnesses, despite having a bit of PTSD thinking about certain things like the mistakes she’s done.
She is now less protective over humans when she leads them through, to prepare them for bigger monsters outside the Ruins door. However, she will assure they won’t die. She also has medicine made from monster at her home, if there’s somebody sick to take care of. She also has errands to do in the Ruins from time to time. The usual things she does on a basis is to check for the flower bed, the state of the Ruins monsters, the farms they made in the ruins so she can make meals for the monsters and the puzzles for the humans.
She appears to have her bed sheets covering her and carrying a lantern fueled by her fire magic at all times, to keep herself warm and see things better, because she had gotten her eyesight worse in an incident when she had gotten attacked by an outside feral monster, losing her horn and accidentally ended up burning her eyes when she was trying to defend herself. She is also friends with Papyrus and tends to talk with him through the exit.

Napstablook
Not much is known about him, however he silently stalks you at a part of the Ruins and Waterfall and stares at you ominously with his creepy, intimidating appearance, cornering you at some times, however, he does not mean any intention of malice whatsoever and is calm. When you get close to him yourself, he disappears due to his social anxiety.
