We don't know if chara is funking evil, but she is not a demon/killer. She probably was abused in the surface, and she climbed up for what? Killing the monsters? WRONG. To suicide, not kill the monsters to dust. In Toriel's home, when there is the 'Where are the knifes' speech is not for killing, but to cut. So Chara is NOT EVIL, she was just abused in the surface and wants to suicide.

I think that's a bit of an exaggeration. I mean they did try to kill a whole village of humans (which is something about Chara that we can definitely say is canon). Even if they were abused, wanting to kill an entire race of people IS evil.

they only wanted six human souls. nowhere did it say that chara wanted to kill every human,
they wanted to save the monsters. it has been said that chara was the "hope of the underground", or that "when both of the dreemur siblings died, the underground lost hope."
in fact, if you do a genocide route multiple times in a row, chara encourages you to stop, and change your path.
i dont nessacarily agree that chara is completely innocent, but they aren't evil.

No one in undertale is completely evil so I agree with you there but that doesn't change the fact the Chara's biggest flaws is that their manipulative (especially towards Asriel) and low on empathy. They probably had good intentions even if it came from their hate for humans. BUT the fandom just has a way of making characters into pure angels when they've done some crappy things. You can enjoy Chara's character while acknowledging the terrible actions they've committed in the past, just like Asgore fans. Chara isn't anymore evil than he is

Also, I personally only think Megalovania is Sans' theme and not ours because it sounds cool. Sans is a cool character. Not us. We're pieces of shit for killing everyone. We don't deserve that degree of awesomeness. The facts of the name and stuff are there, I just PERSONALLY DON'T BELIEVE IT.
That's the opinion I rarely preach because I only use it to make points. Use your knowledge for that, folks. Not for regurgitating an already overused theory.
