I've been simultaneously looking forward to and dreading drawing that second panel for quite some time. Freaky, huh? His eyes are so huge because they're animatronic eyes. Think about it--eyeballs are soft and wet and the first things to rot away in a face. In the Easter egg images of Springtrap's Mummified Face that pop up occasionally on bootup, his eyes are ridiculously huge and bulge out of his face. No human has eyes like that. He'd never even be able to blink. Plus, human eyes rarely shine in the dark with their own light. So, those eyes are artificial, and were jammed into his head either at the time of the springlock failure or (ugh) afterward, to make him "prettier" for Fazbear's Fright.

(EDIT: I fixed the goofed-up hand in the final panel. If you still see the backward version, reload the page and it'll be fixed.)

I've begun work on another FNAF comic, and it'll take a lot of my limited supply of creative time and energy. So, Springaling will slow down significantly. I AM NOT ENDING IT, so please don't ask that question. Here's part 1A of the new comic, The Fastest Fazbear in the West:
