Description
Previous: Next:At first BOB killed (humans) very infrequently. But as time went on his "cooling off periods" became shorter, until his final spree. This is a known pattern among serial killers. For example, Jeffrey Dahmer's first and second known victims were killed nine years apart. After that they came months apart, and in the end his kills were a month to less than a week apart.
Sometimes I really hate the research I have to do for this comic.

Well. Least he's admitting it was him. I'm so tired of hearing pleads of insanity to get less of a punishment. It's what the two girls involved in the "Slenderman stabbings" did and the judge was having none of that thankfully.
It gets even weirder when people say God or The Devil made them do it. Although it does remind me of a specific quote from The Devils Carnival.
The Devil is accused of killing a mans son ( I can't remember what he said )
Lucifer: Watch your tongue! I am not in the business of murdering innocent children! That's GODS jurisdiction! I deal only with the guilty..
Forgive me if it sounds like I'm trying to start some religious debate. It was just something Springtrap said that reminded me of it.
A friend of mine prefers to think there are no good or evil people. Just healthy and unhealthy. Sticking to just pure evil/good or black/white doesn't really help imo.

There are those who would say that to commit murder or other horrific crimes you have to be insane. The logical conclusion is that anyone who commits those crimes is not guilty due to insanity. Argh!
BOB would say (after censoring), "Bullcrap. Some people are just evil."

Which is unfortunate. A mother for example would never want to admit they gave birth to just an all around horrible person. They blame themselves when it's not their fault at all.
I hope I wasn't too dark with that last comment. The one you said was disturbing. Would you like me to tone it down next time? I was just trying to understand Springtrap's motive. Instead of just thinking "Oh he did it because evil blah blah blah". I'm a bit of a wannabe psychologist after having to see psychologists most of my life. Not trying to say I'm an expert but I go into weird talks like that previous comment.
Unless you were just kidding around with the disturbing comment. I over think stuff sometimes.

Plushy. Don't wait. HUG HIM.
( By the way. About that hunger... It's the same as with self-harming, cutting. When you do it for the first time, it frightens you. But some time later, there's that thought. "Why don't do it again?". And after that... There hasn't got to be a reason. There's a need to cut yourself, to feel that stinging again and again, to see blood dripping down your arm. Gah, it's fuggin' sick.)

I understand that better than I want to. Anorexia, which I consider to be a form of self-harm, is similar. The human mind has a few bugs in its program.

Wow he's really spilling the beans to Plushtrap. Well Nightmare and Nightmare Fredbear are fixing his hand so they are probably hearing everything he's saying.

Yes, they are there, right out of frame. Amazing that Springtrap seems to have forgotten that, isn't it?

Well I'm sorry you had to look up such grisly details but it really does add to the character.
I really like how he's opening up to Plushie here. He can't lie to his mini-me. And in this scene as he talks to her he seems truly ashamed of his past. I guess he really does see her as his little girl huh? Daddy Spring's deep dark secrets don't make for a fun story time at all...

Plushtrap has breezed by his defenses simply by being the "right" kind of child. Even though she's a little shrimp she's tough and aggressive and takes no crap. She's done horrible things and horrible things have happened to her, but she's faced it all head-on. And let's not mention that she has a supportive, loving family. He'd envy her, and that might take a very dark turn, except she made him part of her family very early on.

Well it seems that's the Nightmare family's purpose, to be the family he's needed for a really long time.

What a coincidence. It's practically miraculous. You'd think Somebody planned it that way.
Calvin is the one who created them to be his demons, yet even he imagined them as a family.

Pfft I can't tell if you're patting yourself on the back, being all "The lord works in mysterious ways", or both... XD
Well it was Fredbear and Friends after all so even in monster form it makes sense they'd be close.

Ha! That capital refers to a power within the frame of the story, not the person whose fingers are stained with Sharpie ink.
Seriously, it's quite a coincidence that Calvin turned up when he did and fell into the hands of people who could at long last free him from his nightmare. It did the ghost children good too, empowering them by putting them into the role of savior rather than victim. And then Calvin's demons could also be rehabilitated by the same people, and themselves have a lot to give to Springtrap by providing him with some things he lacked in life. Again, I'm not congratulating myself on storytelling; any author worth his or her salt will fit the pieces together as well as possible to strengthen the story. But looking at it from inside Fazbear's Fright, it's a set of coincidences so ridiculous that it's practically a miracle. That's how Ian would see it, anyway.

But still you've done some good work with the framework set up by Mr. Cawthorn.
You deserve to pat yourself on the back for how this story fell into place.
Ian would call it a miracle and Springs would call it all dumb luck! XD

No. When I have the time and energy and inclination I may release them on consecutive days, but I don't always have that luxury. Sometimes, I have to stop and think about a story line or sequence to decide how to approach it. So, I release them when I release them.
