Phew! It’s been a while since I posted something here. @.@

I made this for a friend of mine as part of an art trade/friend request/redesign challenge. They gave me an old Spore design they had made when they were younger and asked me to reinterpret it.
I merged elements of mantids, stag beetles, and crabs into this design. This was my first time trying to draw an insect in this amount of detail, but I’m happy with the final result. (Even if I couldn’t figure out how to join the two halves of the body satisfyingly) lol
