Pfft.
Nothing much different with female Neire.
She's a tomboy and wear shorts.
Cherry's original design is too girly so I have to change the
whole outfit for male Cherry. The hair fringe is still the same tho~

Because Cherry grow faster than Neire (original Cherry has bigger boobs and female Neire is flat-chested lol) so in male form he'd be a bit older-looking perhaps taller too XD

I think cherry could have done with a stronger jaw line to look handsome cute. Since Cherry usally has fluffy clothes wouldnt have putting him in baggy pants or shorts have worked? Neire would have looked interesting with long hair with black and red ribbons inside of it... maybe skulls at the top or bottoms... maybe a skull bowtie for the tie... Maybe instead of shorts make it a whole jumper? Dont get me wrong, its lovely. The colors stick to the original character scheme which is necessary. The fact you got face expression for each done well. Which for many is where they fail. Buuuttt I think with your massive amount of inspiration, talent, and tools you could have done more.

Why male Cherry looks like that is because they're 17 years old, stronger jaw line may make him look more matured? and I don't really prefer boy with shorts/baggy shorts. It would make him girly and I just don't really like girly boy, plus in military they prefer long pants. I try my best to make male version of girly Cherry to be at least boy-ish with those pink hair and eyes XD
As I mentioned in the description, female Neire is a tomboy so long hair wouldn't be her thing right? She'd reject any ribbons too. I like things to be simple, I'm a simple person anyway ouo

most of western boys usually will look more matured than asian boys even tho
they're at the same age. Most, not all, there are also western boys that look younger
