I have fallen victim to not only this man, but the Lorax movie in general. So, have this~

Now for a small rant of this movie...
The Lorax (2012) had so much more potential to be an outstanding and thought-provoking movie compared to what we got in the final cut. Much of the original ideas, concepts, and most importantly, the SONGS would have left a lot more room for action and development. There is a lot I could take from this statement alone, such as the original concept of Thneedville in a much more gloomy dystopian society, or how the developers decided to end the movie with a "happy" conclusion as opposed to the original book's ambiguous ending - However, from the analysis videos to the original concepts I've seen, the Once-ler could have been an amazing, if not better than the 1972 version of the adaptation of the book's character. I recommend listening to the scrapped songs, especially "Biggering," in which the writers scrapped for being "too dark." It focused more on why the Once-ler's inner motives and thoughts, to which the Lorax had a more prominent voice in his actions. I would go on and on about how this boy's character development could have been such a milestone for not only the movie, but also Illumination's image - However, I'll leave it up to those who have read up to this point to form their own opinions

...Maybe I have thought too hard about this innocent kid's movie
