this is ryu-chan, [try pronouncing it] i got him from the aquarium i went to in nagoya last year. i bought him for what i remember to be the equivilant of about $4.00 [he was very, very cheap. cheaper than some pens they were selling] so i decided that even if i gave him to a friend, he was just too damn cute to pass up. i ended up keeping him for myself and he sits near my pillow when i sleep at night.

i named him after the dog my host family had that liked to hate me.

and as you can tell i occasionally like to stuff him behind my bed head and pretend he's in jail...
