yup, it's a lesson they need to learn.
cause of this they are doing even worse now, street fighter 5 is doing decent, resident evil 7 failed mvci also failed, as for monster hunter it's capcom's main money maker in japan it's practically what's barely keeping them alive.
the failure of mvci is huge it could have made them loads of money if they just gave us what we wanted and making it look as good as possible, but they didn't do that obviously.

i personally think it's terrible, regardless it failed apparently from lack of sales compared to the previous games, which i believe are way better then 7.
it seems not many people have bought it since a huge majority have watched youtubers and twitch streams play the entire game thus preventing them from getting the game since they pretty much saw the entire thing, it's a super short game with little to no replay value that pandered to horror crowd not the resident evil fans those 2 are completely different.
resident evil 4-6 may have more action then previous games but ya have to remember the original title which is biohazard, the game is about bio terrorism in general, and resident evil 7 basically is just that, the bio terrorism aspect the game has very little if no real connection to it, every other game was based around it but 7 just doesn't make any sense at all.
so simply put its a very short game and many people saw full playthroughs on youtube and twitch it eleminated the possiblity of them buying it cause they already saw everything, they pandered to the wrong crowd and they payed for it.
