I already did. My biggest advice is that you should start to do construction lines before drawing your characters (body line, circles for head, shoulders, hip, knees and feet) to get a good proportion.
I also recommend you to look at real photos and find all those lines on it.
The best way to draw manga is to understand reallity. Mangas are deformations of reallity, so if you only draw after mangas, you'll get a deformation of a deformation. That's the thing.
