I wanted to take a crack at this challenge, as it seemed like a whole lot of fun and a neat way to practice character expressions.
Mortar's not necessarily the type to be emotional with abandon, so I tried to make most of his more emotive expressions (sadness, bereft, scared) a bit more guarded while still showing enough emotion to show that he feels something.
