Love the colors, red and blue work very well together here. The shading of the clothing looks very realistic, almost fooled me when I first saw the image. Love the girl's outfit, seems oriental in design.. very nice. Though why she's just standing there with her hands out, almost in a modelly pose, is beyond me. Maybe she's trying to woo the viewer?
The monster there too is very intimidating. He's either lunging at the girl or the camera, it's difficult for me to tell, but he's not looking at the girl, so I can only assume big-and-ugly there is with her. Flesh of the beastie is blended very well, I love how rough it looks round the face and horns, and are those chains there I see too? Perhaps he really does belong to her, or just imprisioned..
The blue of the eyes, and of that vortexy thing are rather shocking, it's that kind of blue, those kinds of blue, and I love it. The little symbols floating around make it all the more interesting...
Yeah, I talk to much :/ But I'll sum it up by saying I love the colors, the outfit, the beastie,... really it all works together, keeps the eye moving.. I enjoy this very much. You should be proud of this piece of awesome fantasy art.
