I gave a couple of my co-workers a creature challenge a few days ago; "come up with a "dragon" for a fantasy work of your own design". This is mine, it lives in a world inhabited by living colors and shapes. the more defined the shapes and vivid/subtle the colors that make up a creatures body denotes their strength, age, and personality.
the dragons of this world acts as powerful shamans or seekers of knowledge. the one I drew isn't quit what I imagine bit i think it represents the idea well.
