I saw a lot of people draw comparisons between Anger and Ruby, but not too many comparisons between these two scenes. Also, as a side note, I live in Hawaii, so that zinger about Hawaiian pizza in the movie got me laughing pretty hard.

The states that Delmarva, the state where Beach City is located, represents the states of Delaware, Maryland and Virginia, Pennsylvania becomes the Keystone state, New Jersey is simply named Jersey and Empire City is essentially New York City, so I'm not sure that Hawaii and San Francisco would exist in this series.
