I saw a lot of people draw comparisons between Anger and Ruby, but not too many comparisons between these two scenes. Also, as a side note, I live in Hawaii, so that zinger about Hawaiian pizza in the movie got me laughing pretty hard.

Square pizza is VERY popular and extremely common on Long Island (New York). It's called Sicilian (Sicilian pie). It's a thicker, doughier style, almost like deep dish, but heartier with more sauce/gravy. I prefer it over "regular" (also know as Napoli style... where it originated in Italy). It obviously originated in Sicily, but over in Sicily the cheese is under the sauce/gravy and the top is sprinkled with pecorino cheese instead. It's why when I saw the episode I was happy to see a Sicilian Pie... and Steven scoffed at it. Seemed odd to me.
