Plitter platter you go splatter.I was pissed off at many a thing, so Ang suggested I draw some violence. Good old fashion drawn violence always makes me feel better after.
So I decided to doodle Nny. It didn't turn out near as violent or gory as I expected.. considering I was feeling pretty shitty.
Yeah that 'splosion of black in the background there was a person... or several. SPLORCH! Unlucky them.

It's funny- I could tell this was Johnny from the small preview somewhere else on this site just by the shape of his nose. I can't decide if I am far too familiar with that comic or you just have a great attention to detail. I'm going to say it's a healthy balance of both.

OC1 is such a lovely program despite being so basic. It's nice to get away from all the bells and whistles and deal with art at its simplicity.

Nny's sooooo good for this sorta thing. I can't tell you how many times I've used him like this. He's just the ideal character for the job. Messy, emotional drawings are the best I think.

I usually rough things out with the pen tool, block things out and then go nuts with the water colour tool. Go with the flow of the drawing and let it shape things out, rather than fight it.
