This just occurred to me... As creepy as it may seem, receiving a hug from a homicidal maniac pretty much guarantees your safety. I mean, if anyone else EVER goes after you, your HM will chase down their ass and beat them into the ground... And they're... probobly not going to hurt you. That's much less likely then if you had just been some stranger on the street!
