Description
I had to prove to myself that I could take a tack sharp picture. This is less about composition (which isn't very good here) and more about the level of sharpness I could squeeze out of the image. Here's my method:

3 passes of USM (Unsharp Mask):
20,50,0
300,.4,4
100,.4,4

Duplicated the layer and desaturated the new layer (green channel)

Finally use Soft Light blending on the desaturated layer to get the nice contrast

Resized to desktop resolution to help smooth the noise from USM
