today i will put the disclaimer up first:

I do not own dragonball z in any way all credits to akira.
the desighn of Blaze and the sword Zhurong belong to me
do NOT use or reproduce, i WILL report it stolen and i do NOT gibe permission to use this. (there's ONE exception, helped me with the desighn and colors and also colored the lineart in his own unique style, he is the ONLY person who i grant permission)

Blaze is an oc from the unnamed race of frieza.
To stand against the so called ice-jin, i named him blaze and made him black
as there is no such thing as an ice-jin in dragonball z.
it's a fanbased fairytale based on the names "cooler", "frieza" and king "cold".
i personally think that by the names of ONE familie you should dub the entire race as ice-jins
for one thing outside of their names, they have nothing to do with ice, they have no ice powers
and do not live on a freezing planet. the name "namek" wasnt mentioned when the "demon king"
piccolo forst apeared, yet i saw no one call his race music-jin, as he named his offsprings
after music instruments (drum, tambourine, piccolo jr).

anyway going on: Blaze is of the same planet, and much like we have africans, caulcasians and asians
Blaze is of a different "race" but from the same home planet as frieza.
Blaze is also an evolved species from that race, as he lives 2000 years after dragonball z.

Blaze was born on the same day as my oc Samuel.
as there is an international (what should i say? interspacional?) agreement between all the planets in the universe
and piece wasnt disturbed for manny centuries, both blaze and samuel grew up toghether as "friends"
on planet vullian, where they grew up as wariors to fight in tournaments organized to maintain the peace
troughout the galaxies.

blaze and samuel grew apart the older they became and eventually they became severe rivals.
samuel beat blaze in the finals of the most important tournament of his life and clamed the sword Zhurong as his price.
Blaze could not cope with his defeit and stole samuel's sword and disapeared.

blaze later returns having mastered the sword's secret abilities and chalenges samuel for a duel.

they keep fighting for day's, and samuel notices that the sword has a dark secret to it.
blaze escapes barely living, leaving samuel also near death.
later samuel goes in persuit of the sword, whilst blaze keeps on persuing samuel.
neither of them winning, neither of them losing.

samuel travels trough time and dimensions because there's nothing else to do in his dimension,
he wants to be stronger in order to "save" blaze as he feels his old friend is being controled somehow.
so he keeps on traveling, training and eradicating evil from various timelines and dimensions.
blaze on his therms just keeps persuing him where ever he goes.

the sword;

i found a gun in fallout 3 called Zhu Rong v418 and is a Chinese pistol that fire's incindiary bullets,
the name intrigued me so i looked it up on google, it apears the name was based off a chinese legend/mythology.

Zhu Rong is the Chinese god of fire and ruler of
the southern hemisphere from pre-Qin mythology. He is depicted as a proud man clad in
armor wielding a sword and riding on a large tiger. He was one of the gods that helped
separate Heaven and Earth and set up Universal Order.

He is most famous for battling his own son Gong Gong, who was a water demon responsible
for causing floods. When Zhu Rong heard that his son was attempting to seize the throne
of Heaven, he went to stop him. The two of them battled for days across Heaven until both
plummeted down to Earth. Finally Gong Gong was defeated and sulked away in shame while Zhu Rong returned
to Heaven triumphant, after having won a great battle.

fusing with my story of the sword:

as gong gong regained his posture, he decide to exact his revenge on his father, and requested asistance from hades
the greek mithology demon. he gave gong gong a sword which he had to strike Zhurong with to "capture him" inside it.
gong gong chalenged his father and striked him, capturing him inside the sword, however it had a price,
gong gong's sould was consumed as well. gong gong's body fell and the sword disapeared for many centuries,
when it was found no one knew where it came from. the outstanding features are the white silver-ish engraved letters
ZhuRong, the firy edged as if fire was captured inside the sword.
the sword itself is black obsidian, the handle is black with golden decoration.

when it was found 2000 years after dbz, no one had any idea about the sword and saw it as an unique weapon fit for a prize
for a tournament winner.
