Description
A symbol belonging to a coven of demonic cultists known as the Order of the Bloodlet Eclipse.
When The Great Kings first emerged into the world of Diandei, there has been many covens and cults formed for them, only to have been wiped out by adventurers or through time and inner turmoil. One of these cults being the Order of the Bloodlet Eclipse, an organization of followers who revere them to be living greater deities and worships the Fourth of Ten Kings also known as The Dread Harvester. Their belief is that by worshiping the demonic king through means of ritual sacrifice and committing genocide they would be seen more in favor as to be granted one of their desires whether it be for power, fame, glory, wealth, or even immortality. The Dread Harvester would often twist these desires to fit more his own needs than the cultist who wishes for them, but still receives what they asked for but not in the way they imagined it entirely.
Their ultimate goal though is to call upon an event what is known as a Bloodlet Eclipse, when the moon covers the sun in a solar eclipse during the hours of dusk as a beam of corruptive energy holds it in place. Creating the image of a black hole in the sky that is profusely bleeding upon the world and bringing about an Age of Eternal Night. The reason they fully seek this even is entirely unknown, but it is believed to be so that the Dread Harvester may fully consume the world and all the realms. How this is accomplished is also a mystery, but time and time again have adventurer's came to stop them from producing such an event through various means such as a mass genocidal sacrifice to a city population, creating a machine that could stop time or seize a way to control the moon.
They have not made such an attempt for some time however, having become quiet since the end of the Draconian War in Alexandria, having believed to have been wiped out by some means or another. However some expect that there are still members to the cult, still serving the Dread Harvester in one way or another in the shadows or among the commonfolk of society. Waiting for the day to be beckoned once more by their master and seize the opportunity to call upon the Bloodlet Eclipse to the world of Diandei
