Description
A while back Anya commissioned me for some character expressions to be included in DragonArt Evolution. Later, she was nice enough to let me use her character for a ref sheet guinea pig.

I really LOVE some of the anatomical nuances here! The spread of the wings and shoulder structure, the hints of dinosaur in the open mouth at the bottom right-hand corner, and the horns put me gently in mind of a ram. This creature is very finely drawn, its details not created simply to look impressive or cool, but to be useful to its survival. I hesitate to say realistic, but with such attention to its anatomy, it seems like it should be a part of the world.
I could be wrong (or silly or whatever), but at any rate I really enjoyed looking at this piece. It's a wonderful design, and an equally wonderful rendering.

spiffy. I like it. I like the wings. The light blue specs really contrast against the dark blue of the wing membrane and gives it crazy depth. Like you'll be sucked into the wings and thrown into the vaccume of space. and the color of the skin really brings out the blue of the eyes. good job and good eye.
