The basic idea behind this is that Mockingjay, who completely idolized and adored Harebelly, was crushed when he died by falling off of icy rocks before he could meet his unborn kits. Harebelly had Mockingjay promise to watch over his kits and he did so, earning a place in the hearts of Harebelly's family. Then history repeats itself when Mockingjay falls out of a tree right before his kits are born and dies. Harebelly is there to greet Mockingjay when he wakes up to reassure him that he did well and to walk him to Starclan where he can watch over his family from a far.
also holy hell this piece took much longer than I'm willing to admit and I don't even like it tbh?? I feel like the anatomy is wonky and I got lazy with the effects and just ew @ m self??
