Meta, more commonly known as "_metavirus.mp3" is a cursed sound file that causes its victims to see "Meta", a cardboard cutout depicting a malware of the same name. The name "metavirus" comes from its immunity to antivirus softwares, due to being a hallucination.

The idea is that the cutout can affect people that aren't aware of its existence, ex. crashing the server its host is in.

Meta can affect and destroy just about any file. The only real trick you have to beat it is not to destroy it, but neutralize it. If a software is developed that can overcome Meta's corrupting nature, it will be rendered vulnerable on that device.
