Wow I've been gone a long while.

While I was gone, I did a lot of stuff. I tried (and failed) to start a Youtube channel, and a Twitch channel 'cause I can't keep a consistent schedule. I've been working irl, and working on an original story. I'm still working on that one. It's hard, working on an original property when I've mostly written fanfics. Sometimes it feels like all my ideas are ripped off of some other TV show/movie/cartoon/video game/book.

I've also been in and out of a few relationships. My latest one was with someone of the same gender. I've also been dealing with my own orientation. After we broke up, I tried to get some therapy to deal with my anxiety and trust issues but my therapist was terrible. All she had to offer was her toxic positivity. So I ended it. I find writing fanfics to be more therapeutic than therapy. I dunno why.

So that brings me back. I'm working on a Skyrim fanfic, starring my dragonborn. She's a nord stealth archer, who joins up with the Stormcloaks after being accused of one and almost getting beheaded for it. She grew up in Bruma, raised by an Imperial couple. That's why her name doesn't sound nordic (that's the Watsonian reason, the Doylist reason reason is that Skyrim is my first mainline Elder Scrolls game, and I didn't know how nord names worked at the time, plus she was supposed to be based on a Targaryen, Alissa is a variation of Alyssa, a Valyrian name, that's also why she has silver hair and purple eyes, like a Valyrian). All her life she's wanted to visit Skyrim, but she never got the chance to. After her adoptive parents died, she decided to finally make the journey. Unfortunately, she did it at a bad time. Alissa was caught in the same Imperial ambush that captured Ulfric and Ralof. Because she was a nord, they assumed she was a Stormcloak, so she was sent to Helgen to be executed.

I already have the first 13 pages done. I hope to have the rest done soon. I'll post it here, on AO3, and fanfiction .net
