What incredible times to be alive,
never before it was possible to connect a thought to its visual representation so fast.
When I'm thinking abstract of "a bonsai tree in shape of a heart on oil canvas" in my mind there is a diffuse image, yet it is not clearly visible as there are many ways to depict this thought, possible infinite ways.
With @openaidalle, I can think of a scene and write it as a sentence, and I get a variety of results within a few seconds.
It is very difficult to comprehend what is happening in this development, there are people who stand to their opinion that #AI is not nearly as mature as advertised.
In my personal opinion, the ability of *imagination* given to a computer program, is comparable to the spark, that gave humanity the ability to control fire. If this has happened or is yet to happen is still open for interpretation.
There are numerous people which voice true concerns about their work as #artists , I read a lot about on #deviantART, it is very easy to understand that there is a fear that comes with the possibility to recreate any style of any artist ever.
That this possibility may hurt the intellectual property and the hard work of every one who ever spent time and effort to acquire these unique skills.
On the other hand, the program itself was thought over long periods of time what these words mean, that it tries to interpret.
