Background: Valériane, a nobleman's daughter, grew up in the country of Yamule with her parents and older sisters, who were twins. As the youngest in the household, Valériane was hardly ever granted freedoms similar to her older sisters. Whilst in the gated garden outside of her Cliffside home, Valériane spotted a shimmering gleam out of the corner of her eye. From the heavens flew a golden feather, and it happen to land in Valériane's long black hair. When the feather had set, Valériane's hair turned gold, and the feather itself, emerald green. When Valériane walked back into the house, her mother thought her sweet daughter Valériane had been blessed by the gods. Valériane's parents sent her to a church far west. There Valériane learned that her spirit was given the soul duty of becoming the next Drangel Keeper. She must venture all through the wasteland of Yamule to find and teach young Drangelia (creatures of Dragon and Angel decent). In the nearby church town, Valériane prepared herself for the eerie journey ahead. A hair cut and holy cage staff to contain the magic feather were the two most notable preparations. A few years later, at the age of 19, Valériane has a record of guiding more than 23 Drangelia. One has yet to learn and rise to heaven, Blucimy. With emerald eyes and a stubborn, childlike attitude, Blucimy refuses to leave Valériane's side. Together they explore hidden lands, unknowing of what's to come.
