Sorry I haven't been drawing a whole lot of Christmas art. I guess I have a case of art block this year.
Since I'm stumped on Xmas ideas, I figured I'd work on something I felt more inspired to draw.

Here's a reference sheet for my OC counterpart, Ken.
This is another sketch that I uncovered recently. I started this drawing last year, shortly after finishing my Annabelle the Angel picture. After I finished drawing a couple pictures with Annabelle, I wanted to draw a solo piece with Ken. I started sketching the full body and my "Godzilla Berserker Mode" drawing, but I ran into an art block with it shortly after and shelved it. When I rediscovered it, I felt reinvigorated by it and decided to finish it. I kept my first two drawings and came up with two new ones on a whim. Overall, I think this picture captures my inner self quite nicely (If I do say so myself). ^^

As of now, my favorite shows are Adventure Time, Gravity Falls, and Steven Universe.
I'm definitely not a fan of Teen Titans Go!, especially how it constantly deprecates on the original Teen Titans animated series.
The shows that are "In Between" for me are The Amazing World of Gumball, We Bare Bears, The Loud House, and Star vs. the Forces of Evil. I've only seen a handful of episodes from each show, and from what I've seen from them, they're just okay.

I just put that "Kennyplz" in there as a joke, since people in the past (Specifically, my peers in middle school and high school) have compared me to the character solely because we share the same name.

Yes, I did. I don't really feel like answering it. Honestly, you REALLY need to cut back on the lengthy comments! That's what I thought. I guess there are some curiosities that are best left to speculation. All you really need to say is yes or no, really, but if you don't want to answer, that's it then.

Will it come to pass that you may not gain Tim Burton's approval?
Guess I already answered that for you: I only speculated on what your dream meant, so I could be wrong and Burton might like you and your work and talent anyway should you meet at a con, or at a facility for animation, or some other third place. You're obviously plenty over the dream after 4 years not to stew over it and don't see a reason to doubt yourself over something that hasn't happened yet. Why should you doubt?, you'd probably ask. A majority of your watchers here like your work for what it is and wouldn't mind if it isn't "Idol-Approved" or doesn't fit into a cultural mould.
Does it look like your approach to creativity, imagination and worldview is a step up from his?
Well, you're right, it is hard to tell for sure, since you're a rookie. That's for the audience to decide.
Are there indeed people who like your work in a fresh, different way altogether?
That would require counting all the watchers you have that are only moderately or zero-percent read in Tim Burton. Most of us came to like your work because it reminded us of Burton. It'd be just as rewarding though if younger audiences liked your work as is and be just as content not being well-read in your idol's work as well. I should know; I had little to no experience with horror/gothic culture when I grew up with The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy, and I wasn't allowed to watch that much horror, but whatever I saw on that show satisfied a curiosity I had for that genre--until I steadily got more educated on it once I went through high school, but it could be the same case for you and just as rewarding.
You have a loving, compassionate family too, who supports you and your life goals, don't you? And you accept it even if they're not as knowledgeable about your interests? I bet you do. So there wouldn't be a real reason to isolate yourself from them.
Admit as well that, even in high school, not everyone ridiculed you for your passions and called you a nerd. Others liked you for who you are, not for what you're into. Right?
What good reasons are there why you needn't be designated as a "Burtonesque weirdo" or a goth (or even why you never contemplated going goth, Heaven forbid)?
Goth is foundated somewhat on pessimism, misery and strife. Had the outlets found on the Internet not been developed or had there been no art programs at your many schools that you'd utilize as support, by the time you reached your coming-of-age, you would have rescinded yourself to misery and insanity a long time ago.
Personally, I'd rather see you as an imaginative, hard-working, forward-thinking, determined and overall kind young man earnestly searching for his place in life than an angsty, macabre weirdo wallowing in his squalor and misery. All your other watchers must feel the same way.
What evidence is there that you're currently focused on more idealistic, upbeat, not-so-bizarre/scary concepts?
Apart from the occasional OC for Gravity Falls and Steven Universe, you haven't made any real breakthroughs of said variety following your retirement of Marilyn, notwithstanding "Cinder" and "Winona's Web" being two anchors to your original foundation. Of your favorite works, I'd say you have more specific motives in mind with "Jared of Niddala". Either way, we're all for whatever you dedicate your career to here on in. You've proven by now what your imagination and own two hands can do.
