Sorry I haven't been drawing a whole lot of Christmas art. I guess I have a case of art block this year.
Since I'm stumped on Xmas ideas, I figured I'd work on something I felt more inspired to draw.

Here's a reference sheet for my OC counterpart, Ken.
This is another sketch that I uncovered recently. I started this drawing last year, shortly after finishing my Annabelle the Angel picture. After I finished drawing a couple pictures with Annabelle, I wanted to draw a solo piece with Ken. I started sketching the full body and my "Godzilla Berserker Mode" drawing, but I ran into an art block with it shortly after and shelved it. When I rediscovered it, I felt reinvigorated by it and decided to finish it. I kept my first two drawings and came up with two new ones on a whim. Overall, I think this picture captures my inner self quite nicely (If I do say so myself). ^^

Hello! Hello! HELLO!!...whatz up! Cartooneteer here to say how awesome your inner toon self is, which it is!! Ken looks amazing, really well done drawing it makes a toon-y mild dude vibe that suits you/him. Like a straight man with super awear smarts like Abbott that can play off the wacky world round him, even play it for a suckah too. Innocent face, lead body type, clean cut plain overall appearnce; defineatly someone anybody can be friends with easy and have a great time with. I love the humor too about you wishin' to be this avatar guy instend of you, it's a funny and indearing trait that many have inculeding me. In fact I wish I was a toon version of me self all the time yet curel reality had to be so hellbent on sticking to it's physic rules, man it's hard to break the law of reality these days. I daydream alot too, in fact I talk/act out my little 'dreams' most of the time that people question my sane state o' mind. Whatever crazy the new style. At lest I think so. Anyway your cool, hip, and just way awesome ken is a great cartoon-y version of an already great artist guy I know and love! ...that's you by the way. Man, it's been awhile since you stated drawing yourself hasn't it? Also, i don't know why, but for some reason I feel like if you were in the universe of Scott Pilgrim, this is how I imagined you would be introduced, minus the Kenzilla and you daydreaming of course, lolXD.
I have to ask though, why do you call Ken your counterpart? I mean isn't he basically you?

Yes, but Ken is, more or less, a romanticized/hyper-reality version of myself. Ken is essentially a stand-in for all of my fantastic adventures I want to embark on that I cannot do in real life.

I tend to have my best daydreams when I'm listening to music. I've realized this more and more recently when coming up with ideas for my drawings.

Do you ever listen to songs that are named after people, and usually end up making a character based off that song? Like for example, when Bryan Lee O' Malley was creating the Scott Pilgrim series, he named his character, Scott Pilgrim, after a song of the same name(www.youtube.com/watch?v=KaxuDU… ) by this Canadian indie rock band called Plumtree.

Are you really left-handed? Because the wristwatch seems to be on the right hand. Or does the wrist watch go on the opposite hand? Because I'm right-handed and I have my wrist-watch on my right hand.

Yes, I am! And yes, the wristwatch is typically worn on the opposite hand, since it gets in the way of writing, drawing, etc. I got a special left-handed wristwatch from my Dad as a high school graduation gift a few years ago, which is the same watch my OC counterpart's watch is based on.
I suppose you could wear it on either hand, so long as it doesn't hinder your writing or drawing skills.

As for art block on Christmas pictures, did you once consider making another Marilyn-themed Christmas picture? I mean, I guess you already made so many that there's probably no other ideas left.
How about I give some ideas?
-Marilyn and Nathan could be sitting in the living room (whoever's it would be), watching a Christmas movie, drinking hot chocolate.
-Marilyn and Nathan could be ice skating together. I know Marilyn can ice skate, but what if Nathan doesn't know? Maybe she could teach him.
-Marilyn could be giving a Christmas gift to that one hunchback kid you drew long ago, as I assume nobody really considers giving him a gift.
-Or also, Marilyn could be giving a Christmas gift to Meek. I assume he doesn't get much Christmasy stuff, so Marilyn could help him out with it.

Just today, my mom showed me the RIGHT way to squeeze water out of a mop. I've been doing it BACKWARDS my whole life!
Next you'll be telling me I've been cutting my food with the fork and knife in the WRONG hands the entire time...!

I did at one point, but I decided not to go through with it, since I didn't think my idea for it was inspiring enough for me to put it on paper.
Like I said before, I'd like to take a break from Marilyn for a while so I can focus on other ideas. I'm sorry.
