So here is another scene from my comic that I've decided I will continue! Yay!! But anyway to explain. It has been a month since Tatsuya had first arrived at the school and like any other day, he was out in the woods relaxing after classes. It was peaceful and quiet till Tatsuya spotted a form in the sky headed towards him. He grew tense but as the form neared and took shape, it seemed somewhat familer. In seconds, a large raven landed on a branch above Tatsuya, a rolled up letter in its beak. Tatsuya tried to remember why this bird seemed familer but then the letter was dropped in his hands. He hesitated at first, but then unrolled it and began to read. ( I suggest listening to this as you read, I did when making the drawing [link] )

Tatsuya-

I’m not sure how long it has been since we first met and now you are reading this letter. Truthfully, I wrote this the day after you disappeared. But, I could not let you read this yet. There was so much I wanted to let you know and so much I wanted to help you with. I felt your fear, I knew it was there, but I wanted to erase it from your soul. You shouldn’t be afraid of how you feel. The old ways of our kind have changed so much. You and I are proof of that. Our love was proof of that. You no longer needed to be afraid but I believe I understand why you were. Even when the old ways of the dragons faded away, there were some who did not choose to recognize it. They had grown up with those rules and it killed to see them destroyed. I personally believe your own father could have been one of these people. I think he raised you with fear as to not let you stray from the old ways. But you were strong. You couldn’t hold down how you really felt and your father was afraid of that. So, he attacked you. That’s how you awoke in that cave like you told me, how you didn’t remember a thing, how you were bloodied and scarred. I’m the one who helped you live remember, I helped those wounds and I had healed many more before yours. Those cuts, those marks, they were dealt by a dragon. Now, maybe I’m wrong. Maybe I’m just making up tales. I know you most likely still remember nothing of your life before. But this is what I feel and think, and maybe this can help you remember even the slightest of memories. I bet right know you hate me for not telling you this in person. For not running after you and bringing you back. But it was something I could not possible do. You see, I may have not looked it at the time. But, I was deathly ill. I was born weak and had been throughout my life even though I was gifted with the power of healing. To make up for my weakness, I helped others in my lifetime. I never knew how long I would live for, but I was glad I lived to meet you. The truth is, if you’re reading this now. I am already dead. I wanted you to read this after I was gone. So, I had my raven find and deliver it to you. The one I told you I raised and brought out of illness. I hope you remember him. But anyway. I hope you are doing well and I am truly sorry for not telling you this in person. But you needed to move on. I loved you Tatsu, but I was not meant for you. Now is the time for you to move on from the past. Forget about your fear. Find the one you love and cherish them forever. Promise me this, for I know you can do it.

Tatsuya-
