History:
History.. it doesn't mean much to Tetsuya who awoke in a dark damp cave with no recollection of how he came to be there. When he first tried to move he found he was in his hybrid form stuck between dragon and human. He looked around trying to remember anything other than his name and panicked when everything around him looked blurry. Struggling to his feet well clinging to the nearest wall, his mind raced for answers till he felt cool water touched his bare feet. Looking down, he felt his heart drop as he say the reflection of a bloody him looking back at him with a pale blue, unseeing right eye. He fell back in shock shaking and covered the wounded eye as his mind raced once more and he let out a fearful scream. Shaking and crying, though no tears came from the blinded eye, Tatsuya cowered amongst the moist stones trying to remember something, anything that would help him out now. He wasn't sure how long he had sat alone in the darkest but he was sure it was well into the night when his pointer ears picked up sounds from the entrance. He looked up in fright to find a tall elder male looking back down at him. Afraid for his life that whatever had done this to him had returned, he tried to attack only to find himself pass out. When he awoke again he was looking up at a star filled sky still blurry from his lose of half his sight. He could feel the warmth of a fire and his body didn't feel as heavy as it had before. Lifting his head to check his eye, he found it was covered in a bandage along with several more wrapped around his arms and bare chest. He heard a voice and tried to get up in fear only to have pain shoot through his body. He had expect to fall back on the ground in even more pain but was surprised to find himself held up with warm gentle arms. He opened his eye to find it was the male from back at the cave as he was gentle help into a comfortable sitting position against a nearby tree. Not sure whether he could trust the male or not, he sat still watching him from across the fire as he explain how he had found Tatsuya and dressed his wounds. The whole time the male spoke, Tatsuya found himself taking in all of his features from his long dirty blond hair that was tied up neatly and hanging over his shoulder, to his gentle yet sharp green eyes. At first he had thought the male to be a human but up close he could tell from his scent and features that he was a dragon just like himself which explained why he was even helping in the first place. He was defiantly older, by how much he didn't know, but he looked at least 25 in human. His magic was much more gifted than his own seeing that well Tatsuya was stuck in a form that left him with faint scales, pointed ears, silted pupils, markings under his eyes, horns, fangs and claws; The elder male merely had pointed ears that were wrapped with delicate strips of leather as decoration and jagged blue marking along his cheeks. The whole time while he listened and watched, he felt himself growing warm but only thought it to be the fire.
    In the end he choose to trust this male later finding out his name was Jay and he was a dragon of earth that had been traveling on his own for quite sometime. Tatsuya, having no recollection of his past life and no where to possible go, ended up traveling with Jay in hopes of learning something about himself along the way. The spend many months together, everyday Tatsuya's wound healed into scar and he grew used to seeing in only one eye though he started to grow his bangs long to keep it and the scar hidden. Jay also help him to grow stronger teaching him the magic of taking on different forms and eventually Tatsuya was able to keep a form that only consisted of his horns, marks and ears with occasional fangs. They did almost everything together form sleeping to eating and Jay even gave him the nickname of 'Tat'. Jay felt so much like a brother to Tat although he could never understand why he always had that warm feeling around him and as of recent his chest would start to ache. As a result, Tatsuya started to grow a bit more self-conscious around Jay and it wasn't hard for him to take notice. Not wanting to lose someone so close to him, Jay confronted Tatsuya one night asking him why he was being so distant lately when they had grown so close. To his surprise, Tears had started to well up in his good ear and he began to cry. Tatsuya said he didn't know, just that he felt weird and warm when he was with Jay and it made his chest ache. Tatsuya, as he sobbed, was expecting Jay to get mad at him only to find the feel of the elder male's strong arms holding him tightly. Tatsuya felt his face grow warm once again and he struggled for words only to hear Jay explaining that what he was feeling was called 'Love' and that he too felt the same. Somewhat stunned and unsure what to do, he felt something soft on his lips as Jay kissed him, his first kiss, and he felt himself relax and melt into the elder male's arms. When morning came, Tatsuya's memory felt foggy and he tried to move only to find he was being held around the waist. He shifted unsure what was happening till he saw Jay's sleeping face and he quickly remember what had happen the night before. He felt his heart drop and his face grow hot as he carefully untangled himself trying not to wake Jay. Confused and scared, Tatsuya did the only thing he could think of and ran away never to see his dear friend Jay again.
    Many more months passed by as Tatsuya aged and continued to hone his skills and transformations. Having only been 14 in human when he had awoken in the cave, four years had passed since then and then the dragon had found himself stumbling upon a school for mythical creatures like himself. In the four years he had traveled, he had yet to remember anything from his past before the cave so he found that perhaps if he joined he could find someone who perhaps would know him. To Tatsuya's luck though, he didn't managed to find any info on who he was in the months he spend there though he managed to make a few good friends and a few enemies as well. He even received a new nickname, 'Tatsu'. In the last month he had spent in the school though, he had received a letter from someone he had never thought he'd hear from again. It was from Jay. Apparently after Tatsuya had left that night, Jay had made it his goal to figure out just who Tatsu had been before they meet. He explained how he had meet someone during his travels who had know Tatsuya and he had learned that it was Tatsuya's own father that had attack him and left him to die in that cave. As he read the letter, his mind raced as memory after memory was slowly being pieced together and he felt himself starting to cry. His heart dropped as the last few sentences explained that if he was now reading this letter, Jay was dead. He read on and on as Jay explained how pure earth dragon are naturally weak and that his weakness had finally caught up to him and taken his life. What killed Tatsu the most was that he final line in the letter said, 'I will always love you." A couple nights after reading the letter and slowly gaining more and more of his memories through his dreams, Tatsuya left the school behind without saying one word to anyone and he went back to traveling alone only after a few months of staying at the school.
