This was my favorite scene in the Lord of the Rings trilogy growing up, and I especially loved how excited and dramatic Legolas was. While I love the movie portrayal of him, I wanted to depict this scene in a way that captures the book Legolas that is not a quiet elegant Elf but a snarky Elf that screams a lot and gets excited over everything. This piece took over 36 hours but I am very happy with how it turned out!
